The Aurora 313MM3-R0 is a compact three-axis RS485 smart vibration and temperature sensor (only 21 x 21 x 11.5 mm) with a mid-to-high frequency bandwidth response. It integrates a vibration accelerometer, a temperature sensing chip, a high-speed computing unit and an RS485 data transmission module. The sensor extracts the health status features of mechanical equipment in real time, evaluates its health condition, and uploads the equipment health information to various data collection systems through RS485-to-wired or wireless gateways.
It is applicable to equipment in steady or unsteady operation: component diagnosis of high-speed rotating equipment such as vacuum pumps, water pumps, air compressors, blowers and exhaust fans; diagnosis of gear speed-up/reduction mechanisms in automation equipment such as automated storage systems, handling robots and AGVs; and motor components, as well as non-rotary equipment such as robots and linear guides. The 313MM3-R0 performs time-domain analysis and calculates, for three axes, the overall velocity, acceleration RMS, velocity/acceleration peak and peak-to-peak values and the crest factor, and evaluates the equipment health with the ISO-20816 health index. You can customize the caution and warning thresholds, and when a measurement exceeds the set limit, the 313MM3-R0 automatically issues an alarm. With built-in software trigger, hardware trigger and time-domain data cleaning, it handles variable-speed equipment and stop-and-go equipment with ease. Results are transmitted via the Modbus protocol to PLCs or RS485-to-wired or wireless gateways, then uploaded to in-plant EDC/SCADA systems or offsite cloud systems, so you can monitor equipment status remotely and schedule maintenance in advance.
The Aurora 313MM3-R0 comes with the built-in ISO-20816 health index, so it delivers diagnostic benefits from the first day of deployment without a long period of data collection and learning. After deployment, you can still use the Aurora data and device management software to configure the sampling mode, time-domain data cleaning mode and alarm thresholds, and to update the firmware over the air (FOTA).

Scenario
When you have the following analysis requirements, we suggest you adopt the 313MM3-R0 smart vibration sensor:
- Wanting to know the vibration condition of the field equipment in real time and be notified when caution or warning thresholds are exceeded.
- Wanting to estimate the appropriate repair time for field equipment.
- The installation space is small or restricted and a compact sensor is needed.
- There are numerous machines and equipment on site, but the budget that can be invested in the monitoring system is limited.
- The vibration direction of machinery and equipment tends to concentrate on three axes.
- High-speed operation of machinery and equipment, or variable-speed and stop-and-go equipment.
