The Aurora 213MM4-R1 is a three-axis RS485 smart vibration and temperature sensor with a mid-to-high frequency bandwidth response. It integrates a vibration accelerometer, a temperature sensing chip and an RS485 data transmission module, and outputs the raw high-frequency vibration signals of mechanical equipment (acceleration and velocity) in real time, which the user then analyzes and diagnoses with spectrum analysis software. The sensor ID must be entered when using it.

It is applicable to early-warning diagnosis and remaining useful life estimation of components in high-speed equipment such as vacuum pumps, water pumps, air compressors, blowers and exhaust fans; of gear speed-up/reduction mechanisms in automation equipment such as automated storage systems, handling robots and AGVs; of slide and rail conveying mechanisms in process equipment; and of motor components. The 213MM4-R1 has built-in time-domain processing for filtering and velocity conversion, offers six selectable sampling rates (approx. 2,666 to 26,667 S/s) and software-triggered sampling, and handles variable-speed equipment and stop-and-go equipment with ease. Data is transmitted over RS485 with a proprietary command protocol, so you can set the sampling through API commands, obtain the raw signals, and carry out subsequent analysis and diagnosis.

The Aurora 213MM4-R1 is a Level 1 manual analysis and diagnosis sensor. It has no built-in health judgment or alarm function, and is suited to users who have analysts or their own analysis software and need the complete raw signals. After deployment, the firmware can still be updated with the manufacturer's utility.
